"Listen up! We need a new strategy for getting that brat and her pendant! Any ideas?" Eve said.

"Let's find her and kill her! And then take the necklace!" A bandit said.

"No good. If we kill her then we will have the an army of kobolds to deal with. New idea." Eve responded.

"Sneak up on her and take her captive! Then take the pendant!" Another bandit yelled.

"Are you forgetting about Kirosi?" A bandit said.

"He's a durn traitor! Why should I be afraid!?" The bandit said.

"He has excellent sword skills and he is a master theif. What about Elvoret?" The other bandit said.

"What about her?"

"She has magic power! She's extremely strong!" The other bandit said.

"She's a durn cat! " The bandit said.

"That don't make a difference! Shes still powerful!!!" The other bandit said.

"Are you calling me a weakling!?" The bandit yelled.

After a lot more bickering, the two bandits got into a fist fight. The other bandit's did nothing at all but encorage the fight.

"Enough!" Eve yelled and sent a fireball to the two bandits.

"We can not keep quarelling like this! We are not children, we are highly trained professionals. So lets act like them. We shall continue this conference at a later time." Eve said and walked away from the group.

"What now?" a bandit said.

"Who gives a care about what Eve says! Let's go kill the kid!!!" Another bandit said.

"YEAH! Let's GO!!!"

A group of ten bandits left the mountain hideout and headed for Kobold Village, cleverly disguised as Kobold citizens. They walked around to all the villagers asking them if they had seen the young girl with a talking silver cat, and a person who looked like a bandit. Upon recieveing their answer the ten took whatever they could carry and headed out for Greenhill.

Kirosi pitched a tent for the four to sleep in. Elvie used her fire rune to create a fire. Yuzu and Chala ventured out into the forest to find firewood. After the two had returned, they gathered around the warm fire.

"......And then.....the girl and the boy walked alone into the forest searching for the mysterious shadow that woke them from their slumber. Deeper and deeper they went into the forest." Elvie began

Yuzu, Chala, and Kirosi were trembling

"The girl walked slower.....and slower....and then she stopped.......she thought that she heard something. She turned around and began to run....faster and faster.....until....." She continued

They were on the edge of their seats awaiting her next move.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

The three jumped and Kirosi fell backwards. They all let out a terrifying scream.

"The shadow jumped out of the bushes and turned her to stone!!! Hey.......where's Kirosi???"

Yuzu and Chala were too terrified to even speak.

A noise was heard in the tree above them. Kirosi fell down out of the tree and landed in the lake that they were camping beside.

"Kirosi! What on earth are you doing in that lake?" Elvie said.

"Just taking an night time swim! Oh come on Elvoret! What does it LOOK like I'm doing!?" Kirosi said sarcastically

"What a big water bowl......" Elvie said softly

"What are you staring at!?" Kirosi yelled

"W....W....WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!" Elvie yelled and jumped in the water splashing Yuzu and Chala and putting the fire out

"Dumb Cat! " Kirosi said and climbed out of the lake only to be pulled back in by Elvie.

"Lemme go! lemme go!!!" Kirosi yelled.

Kirosi was dragged under water by the water loving Elvoret.

"Hey! Come n out of there! It's getting late!" Yuzu said.

Kirosi and Elvie did and Elvie used her rune to start another fire.

"I love the water! " Elvie said.

"I can tell." Kirosi said sarcastically.

Soon after, Kirosi, Yuzu and Elvie climbed into the damp tent. They fell asleep. Chala walked over to the tent and checked to see if they were asleep. Seeing her opportunity to escape, she ran out of the field and into the darkness.

The next morning, Yuzu and Kirosi awoke to the beautiful sound of chirping birds, and to the sound of Elvie chasing them.

"Come back here you little pest!" Elvie said and took a swing at them.

"Elvie stop that!" Yuzu said and ran over to Elvie.

Yuzu picked Elvie up and held her in her arms.

"Kitty you know that isn't nice." Yuzu said

"It's fun! " Elvie said.

"Hurting an innocent animal is wrong." Yuzu said and put her down.

Kirosi walked out of the tent, and looked around at his surroundings.

"Shoot i'm still here!? I was having a wonderful dream about a castle, and I was the king! And I told everyone what to do! Then I was back in Mount Hirioshi, and Eve was my wife, unfortunately, and then I woke up."

"Sounds like an interesting nightmare." Elvie said.
