"Merea" (Lakewest) There he was. Merea, the fire guardian, was standing atop of the highest peak in kobold village. The villagers stand still waiting for his next move. Alena, Yuzu, Kirosi, and Elvie move slowly towards the edge of the mountain. Merea watched Yuzu in particular, her pendant gleaming in his eye. Not once did a villager ever take his eyes away. As Yuzu backed up towards the edge, she slipped on a rock. "AHH!! MOMMY!" Yuzu shouted. Alena turned around and grabed Yuzu's hand seconds before she reached the sharp rocks below. "Iv'e got you! Just hold on!" Alena shouted. "What should we do?" Elvie asked. "What does it look like!? We help them of course!" Kirosi replied. "I must say that I like this new change of pace in you. Let's help!" Elvie said. Elvie and Kirosi helped Alena drag Yuzu up to the standing point. Merea had started down the mountain. The villagers had gone balistic. Most ran out of the city, some ran back into their homes, and some commited suicide right there on the spot. Yuzu and the others had also started to run down the mountain, regardless of the rocks. When they reached the bottom they looked up only to see that he had stopped. The villagers had stopped as well to gaze up at Merea. Suddenly out of the sky came six huge, glowing, red fireballs. Yet again came the panic. Yuzu's group ran out of the village and toward Lakewest. Most of the remaining villagers followed. The fireballs were still close behind, another group of fireballs came out of the clouds. Merea had entered the forest, and was now heading toward Lakewest. "This can't get any worse..." Elvie said. "Yes it can," Alena began, "The exact same thing happened seven years ago." "What did you do?" Kirosi asked. "Well I didn't do it. Thomas, my husband did. He died as a result from it." Alena said softly. "How did he?" Elvie asked. "He used the elemental pendant to merge a sword with water. Then the sword became huge and extinguished the fires, and put Merea back in his tomb." Alena said. "That is a sad but heroic way to die..." Elvie said sobing. "There is only one way to stop him," Alena began, " I must use the pendant that he gave Yuzu to stop him......" "WHAT!? You'll be killed! I won't let you leave this poor child here alone!" Kirosi shouted. "Who else do you expect to do it!?" Alena shouted. "If that is the case then I understand. I shall take care of Yuzu for you." Kirosi said and started to cry. "Thank you....Yuzu sweetie, come here." Alena said. Yuzu walked up to Alena and Alena took the pendant from her neck. It started to glow. "Mommy what are you doing?" Yuzu asked. Alena's eyes began to fill with tears. "Yuzu....listen to me. I want you to grow up and become what you want to be. Become a fine woman, and please remember, whoever takes care of you from now on, I will always be your mother. I love you Yuzu..." Alena said sobing. "I will Mommy. I love you too." Yuzu said and hugged her mother. "I will always be with you. I promise." Alena said, and let Yuzu go. With the pendant in her hand and tears in her eyes, Alena saw the last of her daughter forever and Yuzu the same. She slowly walked towards Merea. When she was close enough, she raised her hands, and the pendant floated in the middle now glowing more than ever. "Es ta dine me essa me tra dine" The once glowing pendant became a huge sword of Water and engulfed Merea. The woods, Kobold village, and the plains fire's were extinguished. And then, then pendant fell to the ground where Alena had once been standing.
