"Training?!" It was the day after the cooking contest, and Wakaba was sleeping. Between snores and snorts came the faint screams of Wakaba, as she had pictured her reunity with her master L.C.C. "Dammit!!! Why the hell *snort* *snore* did you leave me alo-*snort*ne!?" She, in the dream had lept with a strong kick right into his stomach. Unfortunately, in life, she lept out of bed. *SLAM* She pulled her head up from the floor. "Huh? What happened..." She found herself on the floor of her cabin, angered from the dream, for she quickly remembered it, and acheing from her not so graceful leap out of bed. She stood up, and threw on a new gi, and quickly put her leg guards on. Town was no longer filled with the jubilant ecstacy it had been the day before. Men were cleaning up the mess made from the signs, the stands, and above all the crowd. People were milling about in a normal, somewhat boring way. In the midst of all of this normallity, Wakaba overheard a man wearing a blue gi, with yellow sash draped across his waist. The man was carrying a large sword with characters, reading "Silvermoon, 1st Degree" engraved on it. The man was talking to some children, a few of which she had seen a few times playing around the village. She overheard little of what she said except something about a temple in Muse. Wakaba took interest in this guy. He seemed like a decent fellow, although there was something strange about him. She decided to approach him, hoping that something awful wouldn't happen. Something awful always seems to happen when she meets someone new. "Kon-nici-wa," Wakaba shouted as she approached the man. He turned his attention to her, and in turn yelled hello in Japanese. Wakaba, couldn't think of anything further to say, so just stood there like an idiot. "Judging from the clothes you are wearing, I would pick you for a martial artist." "Huh? Yeah, but my sensei skipped town. When he gets back..." "Well maybe you don't have to wait to train any longer! Join the Silver Moon Temple!!!" "Uhh..." The man was obviously more peppy than Wakaba at the moment. "We're spanning the globe for top notch martial artists to join and train in the Silver Moon Temple of Harmonia!!! And we are branching out to Muse!" "Heh, why not. I am not busy anyway." "Yeah, those stupid kids over there didn't want to join." "Well I wouldn't say they're stupid..." "Of course they are!", the man interrupted. "Who wouldn't want to join the greatest martial arts guild of all time!?!" "Yeah... okay..." "Well, gather your things and we'll be off tomorrow." The next day... About fifteen people gathered around the entrance to Forest Town. Wakaba and some girl named Anree were the only females among the lot, except for the woman with the recruiter. The party traveled all day, and made it to Greenhill by sundown. It was sort of strange for Wakaba to even leave the town, despite it really wasn't her home. All she wanted was a nice warm bed to sleep in for the night. As they reached the Friendly Arm Inn in Greenhill, the twilight was on the horizon. The color's melded together beautifully. Half of the party flooded into the tavern part of the inn, where the bar flies were dancing on the tables. Wakaba peered in, but a tequila bottle was thrown and broke on the wall next to her, so she quickly pulled her head back in. The two samurai payed the expense of the fifteen members, said something in Harmonian that Wakaba couldn't understand, and went upstairs. Wakaba's curiousity was sparked, so she quietly crept up the stairs behind them. She followed the two unnoticed until they reached their room. Wakaba quickly entered a room to go unspotted. The room was well kept, and empty. She peered outside into the hallway to find nothing and no one. Wakaba placed her ear on the door to the two samurai's room. "Well done on recruiting, Machiko. Your diligence will be rewarded. However..." "However, madam?" "Its nothing. Go." Hearing this, Wakaba bounded to the stairs, clumsily fell down them, and landed on her head. A young girl, a few years older than Wakaba, helped her up, and asked, "Are you alright?" Wakaba rubbed her head, still dizzied from the fall (and the landing). "Uhh.. yeah. I'm fine." "My name is Mairie. I work here. One question though, why were you listening to those two people talk?" "Huh?! Uhh... no reason, just a little curious." Mairie looked at Wakaba in disbelief. "Don't worry. I won't tell. Even though the privacy of a guest is sacred, us girls gotta stick together." "..." Suddenly, the peppy recruiter Wakaba believed to be Machiko walked down the stairs. "All joining the Silver Moon Temple. Your room assignments are as follows. Matsuri and Jakob, room 1. Nojima and Ten-Po, room 2. Yoshi and Ho-Lee-Chow, room 3. Kanui and Tsuomu, room 4. Nakajima and myself, room 5. Ronnie and Kirikaru, Room 6 And Wakaba-chan, you shall share a room with the mistress and Anree." "Yes sir!!"
