"Hearing Rune" As simone walked away from the scene, he wondered how he managed to beat the robot. His skills must have greatly improved. But suddenly, a voice popped into his head, "Hello, Simone." This greatly startled Simone. "WHO ARE YOU!" he yelled out, half scared. "I am the Hearing Ear Rune on your head," the rune spoke. "A RUNE!" Simone yelped. "BUT THATS IMPOSIBLE!" "Simone," the rune spoke, "your parents said that I was special, now you know just how special." "My parents, they MADE you?" Simone inquired, not beleiving this experience. "Yes, they custom made me, just for YOU," the rune spoke. "REALY?" Simone rang, still suprised. "You know," the rune spoke, "you can think what you want to tell me, and I will hear it, and I will think my responses back.. Also, PLEASE call me SHER." "SHER?" Simone spoke. "What is that supposed to mean?" "It is an acronym for Special Hearing Ear Rune," SHER spoke. "Fine," Simone thought, "any other suprises?" "Well..." SHER spoke, "do you still have the box?" "Yes," Simone said. "Get it out," SHER said. So Simone got it out. SHER said again, "Now put your brooch on the bottom of it." So Simone did, and to his suprise, it opened up to another compartment at the bottom. "Now get the slip inside," Sher said. "It is for someone in Greenhill." "GREENHILL!" Simone thought. "My life just gets wilder and wilder! Oh well... Oh yeah, WHATS IT FOR?" "I dunno," said SHER, "but I do know that it is for someone in Greenhill. Why don't you read it." The piece of paper said, "Simone, take this to Jaxx in Greenhill. He lives umder a hole in a bed in the inn. Just check under every bed, and when you see a bed whose level is uneven, but your Rose Brooch to it, and the bed will rise, and a hole will appear. This is where Jaxx lives. He will do the rest. Love you, your parents." Simone groaned and thought, "I guess were going to Greenhill." And SHER replied, "But first lets get THE BEST horse they have at South Window, and many supplies." So Simone left foe South Window. There he bought a WONDERFUL horse named Johoselfat, or Jo for short. This horse cost him almost all the money he had gotten for beating Robo-Nuk (who was VERY rich), 40,000 potch. He also got many supplies, and a couple of bags that went on the horse. Thankfully, Simone was an expert horserider, for Suku-Suku Suk taght him well. He checked the horse into a stable, and went to the inn. Wonce there, he checked himself a room. On his way to his room, he saw the same armorer that had armored himself, Hans. Hans made great armor, but he neeeded him to redo the asrmor on his left arm, for Robo-Nuk's sword hit it, and broke it. When he did, he got an idea. "Hello Hans!" Simone said. "I need your help. My left arms armor is messed up, and I need you to fix it. Also, I got a horse which I want you to armor up." "Fine," Hans replied, happy at seeing Simone again, but it'll cost ya." "How much," Simone said, hoping it wouldn't be too much. "Seeing as your my friend and all..." Hans replied, "oh... 9,000 potch." At this, Simone groaned, knowing that that would leave him with only 500 potch and replied, "Fine." Hans than fixed Simone's left arm armor, and followed him to Jo's stable. He was thinking about how much money this ACTUALLY would have costed, but knew that if Simone bought a good horse, he wouldn't have much potch left. He then armored the horse, and under it put padding, so the horse would be comfaterble. At last, he garbed it with a handsome white, purple. They both then went back to the inn and said, "Thank you Hans! And I vow that next time that we meet, and I have a lot of money with me, I will give you all of it, sparing only 1,000 potch." At this remark, Hans just rlled his eyes and said, "Its okay, Simone." "NO!" Simone said. "My word is as good as anything. I WILL come see you after I go to Greenhill!" At this, Han looked better. He HAD given him his word, and he had never seen Simone break his word. "Fine," Hans spoke, reassured, "and farewell! Untill we meet again!" And he left for his room. Simone thought, "Now I'm ready to go." "But first get some rest!" SHER replied. So Simone went to his bed, thought about his trek to Greenhill, and then went to sleep.
