"An embrassing Discussion" (Somewhere around Muse) It was now allready 2 days ago that the Group was attacked in the forest. They left the forest behind and were now marching through a hilly, and dusty plain. Nothing happened during the last 2 days, but Shin allways noticed how Julia, Riff and Ron were talking about him. They didnt speak loud, and allways when Shin was watching them and someone realized they stoped talking and startet to smile at him. But the smile wasnt looking like it was meant seriously. Shin did know, something are the three up to... but what? Also Shin noticed that they were not as happy as Wolf was about the "good" end of the attack in the forest. It looked like they were angry about it. Not angry in away that they got attacked, more angry about that the wagondriver was a spy. And also this angrynes wasnt a seriose one, Shin belived. At the night they made a camp between some rocks. Shin was guarding
the camp. It was cold and
windy this night, and the heat of the campfire was slowly fading away.
Shin was looking over the
endless seeming plain. The Sky was clear, and many stars were glimmering
in the far. Shin started to
fall into deep thoughts. He was thinking about Teresa. He had a bad
feeling about that he is not
guarding her. But the Messenger he is now guarding the money for seems
to be importand for Lady
Teresa. So he was thinking that it is allright what he is just doing
here. Then he heard a cracking sound behind him. In one movement Shin jumped
around and pulled his sword.
Dont let her say what i now think... "I was thinking about you...heh" Julia said slowly *not seriouse* Thank you... "So what do you want to tell me by that?" Shin asked "Well, i was thinking about the attack few days ago. I'd never seen such a good fighter. You saved my live, and through that you saved also Riffs live." Julia said with a "let-Shin-blushing" voice. "It was Rod" Shin said cool "Huh?!?" "It was Rod who was covered by you. Riff was on the back!" Shin smiled. "Oh..." Julia laughed "...i cant remember the names...still...they look so equal!" That are two completly different man ... is she dump? "Well, maybe your right!" Shin said slowly "It was impressive how you defeated them! Really... i was speechless." Julia said Shin started to feel embrassed. His body starts to get hoter, soon he will start to sweat. He dont likes such situations. "Um..." Shin said confused "Thank you..." "Oh...it is true!" "Yeah....maybe..." Shin stuttered. He started to move his arms and head. He cant stand still now. "Oh...you look like you are completly stressed." Julia said and walked up to Shin. "You need some rest..." "Nooo...no its okay....its juts....cold...yeah....pretty cold!" Shin lied. "Oh...yes it really is!" Julia turned around and picked up a blankett from the ground. She walked up to Shins back and throws it around his shoulders. "Now it should be better!" Julia smiled. "Ye...yes...thank you." Shin started to sweat. "What is it? Still cold?" Julia started to stroke Shins back and shoulders. Then Shin jumped backwards and throws away the blankett. "No...stop it!" He shouted. Julia was just standing there. Wondering what happened. "My...i cant...you...i..." Shin stuttered. He was not a shy one, but he had such a bad feeling about Julia that he sounds like one. "What?" Julia asked fast "What youre telling me? Come on...you want it...i know that! Am i right?" "No...my heart...belongs allready to someone else!" Shin said slowly. "Oh....i...i see..." Julia said with a not very seriouse sounding voice. "So lets just talk!" Oh my god...cant she just fall asleep? "Well, okay...yes...but i have to guard the camp!" Shin said with a stressed voice. Julia sat down besides Shin (wich Shin didnt like very much) and started to talk about nearly everything. After an hour she came to the topic of the last fight again. And they talked about the wagondriver. While Julia was talking about the driver, who got killed by Shin, Shin realized a strange sound in Julias voice. He wasnt listening to what she says, he tried to get behind the feeling he had from the beginning on But he couldnt figure it out. Julia was up for something. Shin couldnt say if it would be something bad, but he wouldnt like it. Thats sure!
