"Interests" (L' Renouille) "NO! What we should do is strike the heart of the matter!" "Muse? What? Are you insane? They have the highest security over there!" "And we have the best soldiers around the world! You need not worry about our welfare!" "HAH! You people can't defend your own heads much less that of an army!" "I warn you, do not speak ill of our army! We may be small in number, but we are high in combat skills!" "ENOUGH!" the black haired man clad in white armor shouted whilst slamming both his palms onto the hard plywood, but glossed table. He was getting tired of all the bickerings these useless old fools are giving out to each other. What do they know about the war we're having now. The war they had was ages ago. They're all useless. "All your noisy bickerings are annoying me. I'd just as soon as kill myself rather than be in this meeting." and he stared at an old man sitting beside him, "Lord Grayton, what is your purpose of dragging me into this meeting?" "Well, I was thinking maybe we'd have a meeting to discuss our next plan of attack, which was the basis of the meeting in the first place until it became a little... side banter." Grayton replied to the white armored man. He got up from his seat while the white armored man, more known as Prince Ruka, sat down. "Now, we can't avoid war anymore, not since 'we've' made a choice of burning down their village of Toto," Grayton started, emphasizing on the 'we' part of his sentence, "so we might as well consider our next plan of attack and try to avoid a lot of bloodshed." The Prince winced at this. "Now, if we attack Muse, then for sure we will have our hands full, and I am pretty sure that, even though we may have a chance of winning, our casualties will still be high, so what I suggest is that we hit the other small village that's not far off Toto, Radat." "Radat? But it's too close to South Window, and we must remember that Lord Granmeyer is a very perceptive old man, he would soon as find out our plans if we attack the closest town to him." A fat old man, sitting just 3 seats away from Grayton objected. "Yes, I know, Lord Glat, but the plan is to make Lord Granmeyer know of our attack near his district, this way, he would have to go to Muse to enlist Lady Annabelle's help, and at this moment, we can attack South Window when they're leader is away, and from South Window, we can attack the port town of Jowston, KusKus. From there..." "No" Everyone turned to the middle aged man, sitting opposite of Ruka. He had his elbow on the table and his fingers rubbing his goatee on the base of his chin. The man had short black hair with whites covering on the sides. He had his eyes closed all the time. He tilted his head to the left side and then to the right side, resulting in the sounds of cracks in every tilt he did. He opened his eyes and looked at Grayton. "It would be too tiring for our men to travel to Radat and if we rest before arriving Radat, someone might spot them before they arrive, and with the rumours that there's a Mercenary fort being built up near that area, the chances of someone spotting our men is extremely high and dangerous." The man spouted his opinion. Ruka looked at the man and recognized him as Lord Oliver Justan, a former Jowston General who betrayed them for the wealth and power that the Highlands have offered him. He rested both his elbows on the table and clasp his hands right in front of his face. Looking into the eyes of Oliver Justan and wondering if this man would betray the Highland at anytime during this war. "And plus, knowing Annabelle, she probably would have people sprouted all over Jowston by now, posting guards to every city." The man stopped, got up and puts both palm of his hands on the table, leaning on it, "What we should do is attack the more smaller town, where we do not have to rest after crossing the North Sparrow pass, and where would this little, and much smaller town be?" "Ryube." Grayton answered. "Exactly. Now, I'll have Alatan get all the weapons necessary ready and able. I'll dismiss myself, thank you." Justan said and left the meeting room. All the people in there are silenced by this man's action. "The nerve of that man," a short old man who was balding rather heavily, and almost as pungy as Lord Glat sounded, "He was supposed to be giving suggestions on this meeting, not order us around." "Well, I don't see you giving any suggestions, Lord Hastings," Ruka bit, "And I have to agree with what the man said. It was my plan to burn down Ryube next until I had word that I had to wait for Lord Kiba. Where is that old fool anyway?" "He had some business over at the Two River district of Jowston, I believe, though his current whereabouts are still unknown." Grayton replied to Ruka. "Well then, we'll just sign him up as MIA and move on to the next phase of the invasion. And give me a General that I can count on to be escorting me back to Jowston." Ruka ordered at Grayton and left the meeting room. Grayton, still standing up, looked around the room. He was hoping that this people would try to stop Ruka from continuing this invasion, but that's of a big loss. These people are too much of a coward to stand up for what they believe in and only would bite people from the back. He shook his head and then said, "This meeting is dismissed." The people left the meeting room, while Grayton still stands in his spot at the table and looks down at the floor. Ruka met up with Pahr Alatan, the assistant Ministry, in charge of Weapons Handling. Alatan is talking to a short haired brunnette, who's wearing a sleeveless red outfit that looks tight, and she is escorted with a wimpy looking boy and another man who's much shorter than the wimpy looking boy, but just a bit higher than Attha, who has short brown hair and wearing a black suit. "Well then Miss Attha, I believe the requirements are met?" Alatan said to the woman, Attha. "Quite well met, pleasure doing business with you, Mr. Alatan." Attha said in gratitude while patting the sacks of monetary unit that she received from Alatan. Just at that moment Ruka got up to Alatan. "Pahr, have you talked to Lord Justan about the requirements that my army needs?" Ruka asked. "No, not yet Lord Ruka, I was just paying our supplier for the weapons that we had used on the last attack." Alatan said in puzzlement. Ruka was puzzled by this event. Justan would have met up with Alatan already because he was the one leaving the room first and upon leaving, he did say he was going to meet up with Alatan. What is that man up to? Ruka couldn't trust that man as slow as he could dice a man into 20 pieces. "Well, then, this is our supplier I believe?" Ruka looked at Attha, who looked quite intimidated by Ruka's presence. "Yes" Alatan replied. "Good, now, I need you to get the A list and the A3 list weapons ready for me by tonight, and if you have the time, try to get the B3 list too. I need at least 100 of each on the 3 lists. The more the better. If these terms are met, then we'd just as pay you upon delivery." Ruka asked the lady. Who simply nodded and noted it down in her notebook. The wimpy looking boy beside her stares at Ruka, but as soon as Ruka laid his eyes on the man, the man startled up and looked down onto the floor. There's something about this boy that's vaguely familiar to Ruka. "Right, now, I can't guarantee you a delivery by tonight, but I can however guarantee a delivery by early tomorrow morning. Rhambert." Attha said and called out to the short haired man in the black suit, "List out the price for all these items and try to find out the final pricing excluding the Prince discount." Rhambert quickly took out his note and noted down what Attha said, "Yes, Miss At--" "That is not acceptable," Ruka interrupted, "I need those weapons for an invasion tonight and you will meet our demands or you will be supplying our weapons for the rest of your life for free." "Now, that's unfair, I can't guarantee you a delivery of such a long list of equipment by tonight. It's a long way from here to my supply warehouse, you know." "I don't care, get me all these things by tonight, or your payment will be cut fairly by the amount of time you delayed." "I'm sorry but THAT is just not acceptable." "Uhhh... Attha... I don't think..." the young man beside her started. "Shut up Coates, I'm talking here." Attha stopped Coates' dialogue. It seems that Attha is in some kind of a trance upon hearing the word 'free' and 'price cut'(or in this case, a sentence equivalent to that) and had lost all her fear by the presence of Prince Ruka who had intimidated her upon arrival just now. "Listen to me, young woman, you might as well hear what that wimp beside you say or you will have your head chopped off!" "Now YOU listen to ME, you overgrown pyromaniacal psychotic CHILD! I am your supplier, and I supply you with the best money can buy so you can play your little wargames and invasion dream and you couldn't do this if I haven't been supplying you with MY best equipments in defense armor and offense weaponry and if YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE STUPID GODDAMN STIPULATIONS of the time to BRING ALL THOSE DAMN WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT and the exhaustion of TIME and ENERGY, THEN MAYBE WE SHOULD JUST STOP MAKING BUSINESS!!!!" Attha screamed angrily at the Prince. The Prince was shocked. Not even strong able bodied men had the gall to shout at him but this woman, who is clearly a money hungry fiend, would shout at him and risk her life at the same time, just for business sake? Truly, this woman really stands up for her beliefs. This strikes Ruka as admirable. He opened up a grin to her and then laughed. "HAH! I like your intensity woman, thought I still do not agree with you, and you still will have to meet up with MY requirements because you know what they say, 'The customer is always right'. But I'll give you a chance anyway, because you interest me... by Midnight tonight, and no later." Ruka smiled at her and left the Attha, Rhambert, Coates and Alatan to just stand in the small discussion room almost dumbfounded at Ruka's reaction. Silence. "Well then, it seems we've done our business, we'll expect the weapons by midnight tonight, good day miss Attha." Alatan started and then left the room as well.
