"Y..yes sir. Right away sir." said the servant as he scurried away towards Rowd's tent.

"Heh, Loud will be perfect for this job. It'll make him feel nice and special, while putting my dear dear sister through hell!" muttered Ruka to himself. Rowd then walked into the tent, "You wanted to see me sir?"

"Yes, Loud, I have a very special assignment for you. I want you to be my sister Jillia's bodyguard. She is on her way to the Toran Republic and needs someone to look out for her. I think you'd be perfect for this job. Do you accept?"

Words escaped Rowd. He thought to himself, "Wow! All I did was help slaughter a couple kids and now I'm watching the most beautiful woman alive! She'll surely fall for me! I should brign flowers and chocolates, she would like that. Or maybe..." but his thoughts were interrupted by the booming voice a Ruka Bright, "Rowd!!? I said, do you accept!!?"

"Y-yes sir! Of course, anything for my lord Ruka!" Rowd managed to spit out those words without even thinking.

"Good, Loud, very good. Your outfit is on my desk, it should fit you nicely." said Ruka. Rowd walked over to the clothes and picked them up. They were peasant clothes! "What on earth?" Rowd thought to himself, "He has got to be kidding me! I can't win her heart with these...these RAGS!" Rowd walked back to his tent, to find Frank floating there.

"Why hello big brother. Looks like you got a chance to win-over Lady Jillia now..." he said.

"Shut-up Frank. I have no feelings for that woman. None at all." Rowd began to take off his uniform and slip into his peasant costume. "How do I look?" he asked.

"Like a beggar." Frank aloofly replied.

"Yeah, well who asked you anyways. I'm leaving for Jillia's tent. See ya" said Rowd as he stormed out of the tent.

Jillia thought to herself, "I wonder who was assigned to be my bodyguard. I hope he didn't pick some total incompetant to try to get me killed." And just as she was thinking this, Rowd walked over to her dressed in a beggar's outfit and said, "Hello Lady Jillia, I will be your bodyguard to Toran. How may I assist you?"
