"Lessons" Slowly, MukuMuku recollected all that had happened. He had made 2 new friends, gotten a new rune, gotten a new weapon, and had trained under a VERY talented master, and had learned much. All that was left, was to embed a powerful rune into is Squirrel Claws, which he now just called his Claws, and to see if his left hand could have a powerful rune engraved into it. Slowly, he remembered a village, the, the, oh yeah! The Sajah Village. He heard that they had a VERY powerful Runemaster there. Slowly, he took out his Suikomap, careful not to lose it. Slowly he changed his direction to go to the village. -Sajah Village- It had been a long trek, and MukuMuku was really tired, but he knew that it would be worth it. slowly he landed. He knew that he would probably need to use his manipulation rune. As he entered, he saw where the runemaster was standing, and used it to make him give him 2 *gasp* thunder runes, one for his left hand, and one for his weapon. But as he entered, he realized that he wasn't there. Using the usual sign language, the innkeeper told him that he was sick. When he asked to see him, he was told no. But he used the manipulation rune, found out wherehe was, then end manipulationed to find a very angry inn keeper. He made his way up the stairs, turned to his right, just to face a wall, but stomped on the ground three times, and a door opened up to reveal a weak and pale man. "How did you get here?" he asked weakly. Forgetting to use sign language, Muku gasped, "MU!" "It's all right, you can speak squirrel," he spoke gently. "I have a hearing hear rune." MukuMuku understood, and immediately got to the point. "I need 2 thunder runes, and for one to be engraved on my left hand and for one to be engraved in my claws," Muku said, a hint of regret of his voice, for the fact tha he might have to use the manipulation rune on this kind old man. "Fine," the old man spoke. "40,000 potch for all that." Suprized at the high price, Muku immediately called upon the power of the manipulation rune, but instead, got a tremendous bacfire in his head, like his brain was being hit out of his head by a lemon, attached to a brick. "Foolish squirrel!" the runemaster spoke coldly. "Do you think an important man like myself would be left without a magic field?" OF COURSE! Long-Chan-Chan had warned him of those. "If you want that stuff, you can pay for it!" the runemaster spoke strongly, with a hint of laughter that the little squirrel had tried to trick him. Slowly, Muku accepted and got his goods engraved. On the way out, the master spoke, "With your fee, you also have payed to stay in the inn for a day." MukuMuku, on his way out, learned a couple of things: he shouldn't get too greedy with the manipulation rune, good equipment was expensive, and realize that some people aren't out to cheat you, but can help. The runemaster had known that all he wanted was the goods, and was going to leave, even though he was dead tired. By giving him a room in the price, he tricked him into rest. How shrewd. Slowly, he made his way to his room, contemplating that he was now fully armored, and ready to... what? Muku wasn't quite sure what he had to do, so he decided to dleep on it, then contemplate it in the morning. That night, he had a terrible dream that would haunt him for some time. He was a terrible monster, and he had a huge, powerful sword. He killed his family, and killed many other squirrels. He was becoming evil, and the sword was making im that way. But as he flew away, towards a small hut (what was that?) the dream became hazy, and he went off into a restless sleep.
