"Crush?" (Two River) I woke the next morning and packed up my things. As I checked out of the inn, I saw Rowen in a distance. I walked out to be greeted by him. "Morning Lotte" he said smiling "Did you have a good sleep? I hope you did!" I looked at him and smiled "of course I had a good sleep, why wouldn't I?" I asked. "Come with me, Lotte" he said "I wanna show you something" Rowen had taken me to the sewer in the Wingers part of Two River. "Why are you taking me here Rowen? This is a sewer, and besides it so disgusting in here" I mumbled. "Beg you Pardon Lotte?" he said, "I'm sorry I couldn't hear you" I just looked at him and followed in step. I started to wonder where he was taking me. The sewer and damp and pale, there was hardly any light and there was an awful smell. Rowen had guided me to a room that was fairly dark. "There is a trap door that leads to the Kobold section of Two River" he said slyly "Wingers are not suppose to go to the Kobold part, My grandmother told me that" I looked at the trap door, it was a rustic looking gate way to the Kobold part of Two River. I then peer though the trap door to see nothing but Kobolds. "Why are you showing me this?" I asked looking unsure. "Because if you want to leave Two River you have to exit through that part, that is if you are going to Green Hill City, which you probably are" I looked around and started to think of why I was still in this nightmare. Rowen looked shocked "Lotte don't look now but um…there is a big mouse behind you!" I looked at him "Yeah right Rowen, I'm not gonna…..Holy Crap!" Rowen looked at me quickly "Should we fight it?" I gave him a quick glance "um yeah maybe we should or maybe we should just…run!" Rowen looked at me and drew his lance. "No we must stay and fight! It's my duty to protect a lady in distress" I looked at him and sighed. I grabbed my runes and started to help out. The rune I picked to use for this battle was my Fire Rune. I started to chant Flame Arrows as fast as I could, but so far the damage was short and not effective. I decided to pull back and rush to grab my Blue Gate Rune. I stood there and chanted Pale Place (again). Rowen looked like he was gonna fall over. He looked to be really tried. The monster had finally slapped Rowen, causing him to fall in defeat. I stood still and finally summoned the spell. The attack was amazing to watch, but the damage was still low. Then all of a sudden Wyna and Shiro made the seen. "Rowen!!! Lotte!!! What are you doing here?" cried Wyna "Don't you know your not suppose to be here!" Shiro started to laugh. "You are such a baby Wyna, besides you came down here to see what the noise is about" Shiro said "Besides look at your brother, he is out cold" The others rushed to help out with the battle. Wyna and I took the back ranks and chanted magic spells, while Shiro attack furiously. I pulled out Lighting Rune and then started to uses Thor. Wyna on the other hand seemed to have had an Earth rune in her hands. We chanted are spells as fast as we could, Shiro was still holding on. Finally the battle ended and that damn monster finally faded off. We then walked up to Rowen and carried him back up to the surface. We used the trap door and ended up in the Kobold side of Two River. With the glances we got, they were not to good. But we didn't care what matted to us now was Rowen. Wyna started to pick him up and slap him. "Wyna!" cried Shiro "That doesn't help" Wyna stopped. "Looks like we need a doctor" I said. Wyna looked at me and then at Rowen's frail body. Then something started to happen, the mysterious rune that was in my backpack began to glow. It then floated out of my bag and waved it self in front of Shiro. "Eh? What is with this thing? And why is it glowing and floating around me?" I looked at the rune to see that it was what I thought it was back in Coronet. It was the "Lunar Rune" and it seemed to be liking Shiro a lot. "Shiro" It spoke "You and I are finally reunited, we are finally together again" I looked puzzled and Shiro looked spooked. The rune made a rope and then encrusted itself with Shiro. Shiro looked shocked. He was given more power then he ever granted. Rowen then regained heath. "Huh? What am I doing here, I was suppose to be saving Lotte from the jumbo sized mouse thing" Wyna laughed "Well it looks like Rowen is in love with someone, Hmm I wonder who?" Rowen looked at his sister and slapped her "Stop mocking me, Wyna! Just leave me alone" Rowen then ran off. I tried to catch up to him while Shiro stayed close behind. Wyna on the other hand went home. "Rowen stop!" I yelled "Why are you running away from me?" He stopped and turned around. "I um…like you Lotte, I think you're the most prettest girl in the world! Just I was being a fool, you probably hate me" I started to blush. It was wired to know that an eigth year old liked you. Rowen blushed even more. Shiro just started to laugh. Rowen slammed his fist down on Shiro's back. "Oww! Alright I'll go home" he said as he walked slowly home. Rowen then looked at me "Will I ever see you again, Lotte? I mean do you think you will ever be in Two River again?" I looked at him once more and told him that I would return someday. He started to cry. I hugged him and told him that I'll be back soon. E looked at me once more and then pulled out something. "Lotte take this you'll remember me this way, okie" He handed me a set of Winged Boots. "Winged Boots? Why Rowen?" with his head low he said softly "Rowen love Lotte so when he is older he will marry her! So for now, me just give you this instead" I smiled at him and then said my good-byes to everyone. The Night became still over the City of Two River. I finally left with my head high and my thoughts still in tacked. My cats and I left Two River, and we had set sailed to the City of Green Hill. As we walked along one thought still remained in my mind "Why did Rowen love me some much?"
