Next Day… "Oh Geez!!!! I'm late!!! I'm late in starting! Mina!! Momo!! Where are you?" I cried . Momo was on the counter in the kitchen. "Mina!" I yelled "Oh Mina! I got some yummy cat nip here, please come out, pretty please Mina" I looked in my house and started to wonder "where would Mina go?" I thought "I wonder if…Oh no!" I grabbed my backpack and Momo, and ran out my door. "Mina! Mina Where are you? Please Mina come out now!" I yelled stomping my feet. I ran around the city looking and looking for Mina. By Nightfall I still had not found her. I walked into my house looking pretty sad, I started to think of where she was. "I can't believe I didn't get to start my adventure, If Mina had not ran away I probably would have been In Banner by now," I decided that I had better feed Momo, I grabbed a small plate and gave him some food quickly, I then looked in my backpack to see if I had everything that I needed. Then I saw a little fuzzy brown and white fluff ball in my bag. "Ewwwww, It's a big brown and White spider" I picked it up and looked at Mina "Or my silly kitty who I have been looking for the whole day" I put Mina on the ground "If you walk out this door, I'll turn you into a frog! So please don't run away, ok Mina?" Mina looked at me and started to lick her paws. I got frustrated with her "MINA!!! STOP LICKING YOUR PAWS AND ANWSER ME!?" again Mina looked me and continued to lick her paws. "Oh! You make me so mad, sometimes" I double checked my backpack to see if I had everything, I pulled everything out of the bag so I could double check "Lets See my collection of Runes which inside has…one, my Map around the world, a log, all my stuff for personal hygiene, some stuff for the cats, some food, and one blanket, I guess that's about it" I thought "Hmmm…..My log is missing something, but what?" Momo walked over to me with a pencil in his mouth. I looked at Momo and thanked him. I then placed everything back in the bag and I decided to leave early the next morning. I grabbed Mina and Momo and headed for bed.

Next Morning…

"Ahh!! I cried "Momo your claw in poking me in the nose, owwwww!!!!!" I grabbed Momo and pulled him away from my face. I looked out my window and saw and nice clear morning to hit the road to Banner Village. I first decided to check out the rune shop in the city before I left. I grabbed all my things and bolted out that door, I had asked Marie the owner of the inn, to watch my house for me while I was gone on my journey. I looked at Momo who was on my shoulder and asked him if Mina was in my backpack. Momo nodded and told me she was there sleeping. I walked into the rune shop and checked out if the had any rare runes. "Hello Lotte, what can I do for you?" the clerk asked. I looked at her and asked if they had any new runes. "New Runes? I think we have a Flowing Rune, but that is about it" I thought for a moment "Hmmm maybe a Flowing Rune is a good choice" I then looked at the clerk and asked her the price. "The price is 22,000 posh. "22,000 posh? She is crazy! I don't really have enough money ether" I started to think this rune would be get to have, but I'm not sure if I wanted it that bad. "Lotte do you have enough? If not I'll make you a deal, when you come back from your journey, if you'll get this item for me I'll be very happy, I need two pairs of "Winged Boots". I looked at her "Winged Boots? Where can I find them?" I asked. The clerk looked at me "I don't know just what ever town you're in please check the item stores to see if the have Winged boots. I looked at her and agree to find them for her. "Okay I'm gonna give this to you now, and this Fire Rune" she said as she handed the runes to me. "Good-bye!!!!" I told her "I'll be back in a while!!!". "Good luck Lotte!! I hope you become a great magician!!! good-bye!!!" she yelled to me. I waved to the owner and then head out of the city. I looked a little puzzled "Why did she give me a Fire rune? Oh well I still have use for it" I continued to walk to Banner, with a few battles ahead. A few times I got hungry along the way, but in most cases I kept thinking that I still had to save all this food. I decided I should do a little magic practice while I was out here, so I grabbed my three runes and my thing and went in search of a monster to battle, instead I ended up with a clan of samurai's "Great" I thought "I'm in deep shit now" The samurai's looked at me and drew there swords. "Um…nice weather we are having today, no?" I said quickly. They raised their swords at me, and decided that I'd be prefect to kill now. I tried to be brave, I knew my cats wouldn't help me. I grabbed my Blue Gate Rune and I let it shine into the light of the sun. I stood there and chanted the spell as quickly as I could. The spell I picked was Pale Palace. The samurai's couldn't defend at all. I thought for a moment "that was not smart, I'm gonna end up wasting the best spells at the wrong time" I looked at the rune and started to think about what power it had. I put my runes back in my backpack and then continued to walked to Banner Village. I looked at the sky and saw that nightfall was approaching very soon. "Look guys I don't think we are gonna make it to Banner in time so do you want to rest here?" I asked my cats. Momo was asleep on my shoulder and Mina was still sleeping in my backpack. I grabbed my map and checked how far we had to go. "Not to far, I might as well keep going" I thought "Besides if I keep going I can go sleep in a nice bed under some warm sheets" I continued to walk to Banner. As the sky changed its colour, the radiance of the Moon was my only light, to Banner. I was at the top of the hill when I saw the lights of Banner Village. "We…we made it!" I cried "Look guys, we made it to Banner Village!" I walked down the hill and into the village. It was quite but peaceful village. I walked over to the water edge and saw the refection of the moonlight glisten in the water. "What a beautiful night eh guys?" I asked. They looked at me and nodded. "Tomorrow we are gonna get a boat and then head for Radat Town" I said to them "Do you guys want to go to the inn now?" I decided just to go to the in anyways with out the two cats consent. I walked into the rustic looking inn and asked for a room. The man smiled and gave me the key to my room. The room was pretty small and the people looked like they didn't get much guests. I decided that I should not complain because it was still a nice room. I put my backpack on the floor and started to stroke Mina. Momo was still asleep on my shoulder, so patted him a few times as well. I looked at my map and realized that I had two choices when I get to Radat, my options were that one I could head toward South Window City or I could go toward the Mercenary Fort. I couldn't decide right away, but at least I had an idea on where to go. I used my pencil to draw an out line of where I was gonna go, I drew two paths on to the Mercenary Fort and the other to South Window City. I then took out my log and began to record what went on in the day.

I had just recently left Gregminster City to start my quest to become a world famous magician. Today I had gotten a two new runes and my first battle. The Battle was amazing, I kicked those Samurai's asses!!! (okay I'm lying I freaked out and wasted one spell from my Blue Gate Rune) Anyways today I made it all the way the Banner Village and I'm currently writing this in my bed at the Banner inn. Tomorrow Mina, Momo, and me will be heading to Radat Town. Anyways I'm a little tried now so I'm going to bed, so goodnight!

I finished up the entray and then looked out my window one more time. I yawned and then fell asleep, hoping the next would be better. Mina and Momo snuggled in with me as I dozzed off into bed. Tomorrow would started a new day, I was heading for Radat.
