Daddy sometimes lets me follow him around, but most of the time he makes me practice my reading with Marlow. I dont like him, hes a bit of a bore and he smells funny. I like following daddy. I once asked that he should turn tinto cave into a kingdom like Matilda, and I can be the princess. We can have all sorts of things there. I remember once daddy took me to Harmonia and I saw this ride which went round in circles with horses which galloped in the wind... the owner of it, this tall skinny guy with a funny beard glasses and Smelly, smelly breath asked if I wanted a ride. Latter that year I saw him building these things in tinto which go up and down, miners were scared of it but daddy let the man, who he called, adalia or something stay at our house, He was very lucky that my daddy was around all the times he called me little, even in Harmonia.

Apart from my daddy there is one other person I love in the whole wide world, and its mr fluppy bunny. He’s my pink bunny daddy gave me when mummy went on holidays. I don’t miss her you know, daddy told me that she was so peaceful in bed holidaying in her mind that she wouldn’t want to come back. i was the first person to see her on holidays. As far as I can see she deserted me and daddy and I guess that’s alright cause now I make the decisions and I don’t have to take so many orders. I guess I’ve learnt to live without her but sometimes I wish she would come back, so we can play together when daddy has Very important stuff to do and no time for me…

And as for marlowe…he’s smelly…I like reading books but he feels because I am almost around 54 moons old that I cant read unaided. I can. I once went to his house and found a magic book…the stuff is very interesting…I managed to make a small rune out of a chalcedony crystal I picked up while playing in my Tinto Palace and I read the chapter in the book about chanelling and well I created my rune!!!!!!! Mr Fluppy bunny can come to life.

Lily Yawned. Although no longer having the confinements of a bed time, her body did restrict her from writing any longer. Her eyelids fell on her like anvils from above. Each time she tried to continue writing she fell…

The door opened it was her father Gustav. He let out a heavy sigh. He was so proud of his daughter for her courage, her decisiveness, her mature attitude and for her her support-since his wife died, there has been no woman in his life who he cared about as much, and there was no woman who tolerated and understood and loved him as much as his daughter, his beloved lily.

“Mmmh” lily turned pushing her journal off her bed.

“oh lily did I wake you?”

“Mmm, yes father,"Lily turned "it’s okay…"She looked deep into his eyes "father what plans have you tomorrow?” she asked sheepishly while rubbing her eyes.

“I don’t know. Was I meant to be doing something child?”

“yes, you were meant to go to Two river and speak to the Kobolds for some reason…is it alright if I come along” lily asked.

“You managed to save my behind from the Cauldron once again girl! if that’s how I can repay you so be it.”
