"Farewell" (Outside Tworiver) The horse stopped a few miles outside Tworiver. Klaus thought it would be safer to stop here in case Sir Camus would find him out. He dismounted followed by his faithful Pokemon. The horse was pensive, worried even. Klaus gently patted him on the head. "Don't worry." he said softly. "Sir Camus will find you." The horse nodded, understanding Klaus' words. Klaus looked in the distance. Tworiver seemed quiet in the night. It was time to start his duty. He turned to Eevee and Jigglypuff. "This is where we leave paths for now." "Vui?!" Eevee cried. Klaus shook his head. "It's too dangerous. This is a scouting mission. If I am to be caught, they will inflict horrors on you such as..." He proceeded to babble about the many procedures of Kobald torture. Big sweatdrops went down Eevee and Jigglypuff's heads. No matter how many times they've seen Klaus display his knowledge, it still amazed them how he knew everything. "Jiggly!" Jigglypuff cried. She gave him a long lecture, meaning to say, "What about us? What about our feelings? You're our friend! We can't leave you." "I'm so sorry, but...you're my friends. I can't see you getting hurt." Eevee nodded solemnly. As much as it hurt him, he knew how Klaus felt. "You'll be safe with Suren. He'll take good care of you." Klaus bit his lip, trying to choke back his tears. "I-it's not as if we won't see each other again. We will. Just...just..stay..." Klaus couldn't take the sadness anymore. He broke down in tears. Jigglypuff patted him gently on the face. Eevee gave him a reassuring lick. "Ah...thanks guys." Klaus smiled, playfully petting Eevee's head. He sniffed. "I..still remember the time when we first met. We met under the willow tree a year after...Princess Jillia...we left...Ha ha. Listen to me. Reminicing when we're not leaving forever." He wiped his tears on his sleeve. He took out two white and red balls called Pokeballs from his pocket. Two beams of light emitted from each, shrinking Jigglypuff and Eevee and sending them inside. Looking towards the darkened sky, Klaus placed his fingers in his mouth and whisteled loudly. A majestic bird flew on his arm. "Can you please send my friends to General Kiba of the 3rd Highland Army?" Klaus whispered as he tied the Pokeballs to the eagle's feet. The eagle cawed in approval and flew off. Klaus sighed. It was only now he realized how lonely it was without any sort of friendship around. "To duty..." he said to himself, heading towards Tworiver.
