Kinnison eyes opened and darted around, he was in a run-down building, beside him were his clothes on a rack. He painfully tried to get up, his blanket rolled off, his chest were wrapped up in bandages. His right arm was also wrapped up, in fact 56% of his body was wrapped in bandages. Either he fell from a 100 ft cliff or he was dead and was mummified. The door suddenly swung open and a tall yet bald man came in, he looked over at Kinnison and grinned slightly. "So your awake" he said "You've been out cold for two weeks straight"

"Two Weeks?" Kinnison asked dumbfounded "What happened?"

"Well, Here I was, coming home from a long days work. I was wiping the sweat from my forehead and I looked up, a bunch of little pink birdies were flying overhead. Then they dropped this guy, as if you weren't hurt enough, the fall broke both legs, one arm and most of your ribs." The man answered "Your lucky to be alive!"

"I don't feel lucky" Kinnison groaned out "Where's Shiro?"

"Eh..? Who? You were the only one..." Kinnison's rescuer answered "I'm sorry.."

"I gotta go back and find him" Kinnison said as he painfully tried to pull himself up, but he was set back down. "I guess I shouldn't go.... so where are we?"

"Why your in Tinto! A Mining Paradise!" The man said "By the way, the name is Connor, and yours?"

"My name is Kinnison.... but how did I get so far?" He asked " I was just due north of Two River!"

"Jeez.... things have been going wild lately" Connor said "Squirrels attacking people and now birds picking travelers up and dropping 'em on people's heads! I think they can feel war is coming as closely as everyone else can"

"I suppose so" Kinnison said as he thought about Toto village "When do you suppose I'll be healed up?"

"Ahh! Thanks for reminding me!" Connor said "I came in here to remove the bandages off your legs"

Connor carefully undone the bandages off Kinnison legs and threw him his clothes and left the room. Kinnison dressed as fast as possible, after a thorough search, the only possession he could find was his Rage Rune but his Bow and Arrows were gone. Kinnison walked out and looked at Connor who was reading at the moment. "Hey Connor.." Kinnison started "Did you do anything with my bow and arrows?"

"Your arrows?" Connor asked "I only found you and that Rune, Kinny"

"Really..?" Kinnison asked wincing at the name Kinny "Is there any Blacksmith's in town?"

"Yeah, there's are local Blacksmith, and that famous Smithy Tessai is around here looking for Iron Ore and Silver"

"Well then... I'm off to the Smithy!" Kinnison said as he walked outside after kindly thanking Connor for keeping him. When he arrived at the Smithy he found he had no money, so he managed to borrow a Hunting Knife and get another set of Arrows made in exchange for the Rage Rune (Until he could buy it back by hunting). Having no choice he stayed at Connor's house doing small tasks around the house until he healed. By then he was able to pick up the new Bow and Arrows, he immediately departed and begin hunting Monsters. In one day he managed to defeat two Zombies, a Skeleton Dude and a Nasty Rabbit with a ax. The next day he was able to kill twice as many but no rabbits, finally on the third day he fought enough monsters to buy back the Rune given to him by Gregorio. So he stayed at the Inn and left the next morning, by sunset he managed to arrive in Crom village. As soon as he entered he was attacked by the same Pink Birds that carried him off. But he got his revenge and got enough Potch to stay the night at the Inn and buy some decent equipment. Kinnison explored town a bit more and bought a Crystal ball at the Trading post to get some cash at the Kobold village. After doing so he prepared himself for a nice rest at the Inn.

(And no, there's not Semi-Scary Dream Sequences or Bandits)

Once again he departed to Tigermouth village, he skipped that town and headed over the hills. Wasn't much of interest there and he pressed on, as he was nearing Drakemouth village, a pack of black wolves ambushed him and dragged him to their cave.

Shiro ran as far after the annoying pink birds as possible but lost sight of him when he was chased out of Two River by a group of Kobolds. The White wolf paced in front of Two River for days trying to think of a way in. Shiro then got a plan, he sneaked over to a junk area, there he scounged up a half decent outfit. After he dressed, he walked upright into Kobold Village occasionally falling and picking himself up. As he walked he was given alot of strange looks, with a little luck he made it into Winger village. He got through easily, next was the Human part, it wasn't to easy there but he managed. As he neared the exit, the clothes fell off, several Townsmen chased him out of town throwing rocks and sticks at him. Shiro exhausted rested for awhile, but his rest was disturbed when a Griffin saw him as a tasty snack. The white wolf and Griffin fought for hours, finally Shiro was the victor but fell unconscious shortly afterwards.

When Shiro awoke, he was in a house lying on a mat, his back left leg was wrapped in cast. Shiro began to sniff his surroundings, he could smell it, a nice juicy tender roast was cooking. He pulled the roast off the stove and feasted to a nice meal, when the owners arrived, they were furious. They chased Shiro right past the guardsman up to the pass to Tigermouth village.

The bandits backed away as far as possible, the remainder of their life was short. Moore, one of Talrick's best men had been captured, and that fact meant certain death for them. "So your sure Moore said nothing?" Talrick asked.

"N-no sir, I mean Y-yes sir" Zebedeel stuttered "And he took the Death herb when they questioned him"

"Well, that is good" Talrick said calmly "And noone else was caught?"

"Noone" Zebedeel answered thinking Talrick was going to spare them "Only Moore"

"Good then" Talrick replied "Then your all together, I'm in a good mood today, so I'll make your Execution short and sweet. Vicks have my Darkness Rune attached now"
