"How odd." He remarked to himself. This must be a dream. As far as he could see, a black, starless expanse, around, above, and below him.

"Hello?" He called. "Is anyone out there?" Suddenly, in front of him, a small red stone appeared. Agares recognized it immediately as the Infinity Stone.

He made a grab for it, but it dropped quickly out of sight, with a slight plop, as if hitting water.

A wind picked up around him. It was not a cold wind, but it was unsettling.

This is just a dream, Agares, The King told himself, Just a dream. The wind blew around him.

Agares was startled. "What!"

I am Dijada. The voice called. Alchemist of the Sindar, creators of the Infinity Stone. The stones, the one you wear around your neck and the one you seek, are my work.

"Is this a joke?" Agares snorted. "The Sindar died out ages ago!" That is a lie. 'Dijada' whispered. We have come here, to escape Harmonian persecution. This is Limbo. The stone you seek has been hidden from you by the Harmonian High Priest. Suddenly, an image shot through Agares' mind. He saw Sasalai in a boat with other Harmonian Priests. Sasalai looked at the stone with disgust and dropped it into the water. Agares saw the stone fall until it hit the water and the Earth opened up and swallowed it and then magical fire sealed the crack.

Anger began to rise in Agares and he fought to push it down.

"So the High Priest has lied to me..." Agares said. "He will pay for doing this."

Ah, but there is still a way to find the Infinity Stone! Dijada whispered excitedly. When I enchanted the stone, I placed a Recall power on them. As long as you have one Stone, you can unlock this Recall power and bring the other Stone directly to you, no matter where it is, for the Stones are indestructible.

"How do I activate this power?" Agares asked.

That I cannot tell you. Dijada said, not hiding the amusement in his voice. I would not rob you of the thrill of discovery.

"Discovery be damned!" Agares said angrily. "I'm in the middle of a war, and I need to win it! And if you know how to get that which I have sought for the better part of my life, you'd better start talking!"

Suddenly, Agares was plunged down into the blackness, falling faster and faster!

When Agares woke up in his bed in L'Renouille Castle, he wondered whether Dijada's message really had been a dream, and nothing more. After pondering this for a while, he shurgged.
