"Orders" (L'Renouille) The air in the Throne Room seemed to tense as Ruka stormed in. He marched straight up to Agares. "Well?" He snarled. "You asked for me?" "I have asked you to come, to give you your orders." Agares replied. "In addition to the destruction of the Mercenary Fort, I have reason to suspect that Jillia will be held there. You will find her, and free her, and return her to L'Renouille. Understand?" "How can you trust me not to kill Jillia?" Ruka snapped. "How can you trust me not to kill her, like I did to all those pigs in Toto and Ryube?" Agares smiled faintly. "Because I'm sending Durimal of the White Dragons to make sure you follow your orders. And if you do kill Jillia, Durimal will have you arrested, Prince or not." Ruka snorted. "I'll have my White Wolves to back me up!" "Ah, but Durimal is my Military Strategist, in addition to being a member of the White Dragon Brigade. I'm also giving him the power to step in and take over should your command abilties falter, in any way, shape, or form." He clapped once, and Durimal stepped into the room, a cold smile on his face. "Prince Ruka, may I say that fighting alongside you will be an...interesting...experience." Ruka looked steamed. Agares chuckled. "Now run along. I have important tasks to perform, because I'm the King of Highland, something you'll never be, Ruka." "This isn't over, Old man!" Ruka snarled before storming into the throne room. Durimal nodded to his King and marched out, following Ruka. Agares allowed himself a childish grin. This was becoming interesting. Ruka stormed down the hallway from the Throne Room, looking more steamed than usual. Durimal, his majesty's Military Advisor, following close behind. "Now, my prince, you shouldn't really be too aggravated. Your father is looking out for the best interest of the country." Durimal noted to the angry Prince. "HAH! What the hell does that matter? My duty is to destroy the Jowstons, not care for this pitiful country. I will burn down that fort, and you, nor HIM will stop me. It doesn't even matter if my own flesh and blood is in that fort, I will still burn it down. After all, accidents do happen." Ruka said to Durimal, looking very grim and displeased. Durimal looked into the eye of the beast, and tho he was a bit intimidated by it, shows no sign of fear. He cracked a smile. "I'm sure it does, and that's why I am going to be there with you. To make sure that no accidents occur." Ruka's face turns more grim. It is now red with anger. He looks deep and hard into Durimal, and finally saw it. Now, HE smiles. Durimal saw this action and was perplexed by it. A sweat trickled down the side of his head. What is this monster thinking of now? One thing Durimal now learns in his brief encounter with the Prince is that the Prince, though very predictable, is very uncontrollable. Something Durimal will have to overcome. Ruka laughed and turned. "Well then, at least you're confident. That's a good quality that I would like to have with the men by my side. It assures victory." He walked out of the hallway and into his own quarters. Durimal stood in the hallway thinking of what Ruka said and also trying to know what is in the Mad Prince's mind. He hmmms, and returns to the Throne Room.
