"The Letter" (L'Renouille) Agares sat at the table in his room thinking. It was late, but the King didn't mind. He was deep in thought. Now, how could he go about secretly starting a war? Before he contacted Martin, he needed a good solid plan...Ruka had certainly pulled off the Unicorn Brigade attack well enough. What if Agares himself was put in 'danger'? Attacked by 'Jowston' soldiers. If the Monarch of Highland was attacked, surely that would be enough to rally the people of Highland to war. Yes, yes, that could work. Agares rose from the table and walked to the far wall of his room. A row of candles hung from the wall. Agares walked to the one three left from the middle and turned it. A hidden door in the wall slid open and Agares walked through. It shut behind him Behind the door was a small room with a single window. There was a desk with writing parchment and quills and a bird cage with a medium sized black Raven. Agares sat and quickly worked out a message. From His Majesty, King Agares Bright, Ruler of Highland Agares rolled the parchment into a cylindrical shape, then opened a drawer in the desk. Inside were clear, glass cylinders. Agares took one, opened it, and slipped the message inside. He then closed the cylinders and took out the Raven. The Raven was actually a Demon that Martin had given Agares years ago when they had become friends. It was stronger and faster then a normal Raven Agares fastened the cylinder to the Raven's leg held it to the window. "Take this message to the Tower of Martin De'Lavarque in Harmonia." Agares said quietly to the Raven. "Do not be seen, or allow yourself to be captured. When you have delivered the message, return here." The Raven bobbed it's head. Agares let go of the Raven. It flew off and was quickly lost in the darkness. Agares walked back to the shut door. It had a large red button on it. Agares pressed it and it opened. Now all Agares had to do was play the waiting game. A game he was very good at. He smiled to himself, wondering if there was anything that could happen to ruin the idea. Martin had always accepted the jobs Agares had asked him to do and he was always very prompt in rewarding Martin and his associates. So far, there was nothing to be worried about. Good.
